Our Technology

Our R&D will focus on the fuel cell: off-road has different power requirements to road vehicles. The Hendrik fuel cell will address this problem, thus increasing the life expectancy of the fuel cell.

Our hydrogen tank will come in form of a cartridge, which will allow for easy fuelling and replacement. This is important especially in the early years as hydrogen is not yet widely available in rural areas.

R&D will also go into the development of a light weight tank, allowing more hydrogen to be carried, thus further increasing the range.

We will invest into new production technologies and materials — from producing the superstructure body with additive manufacturing, and a range of recycled materials wherever possible.

Pure tech development will also occur, both in the development of a powerful operating system, as well as a Hendrik App. The operating system is the computer behind the ATV or UTV, enabling the machine to function and optimising its performance. The App, meanwhile, is intended to revolutionise the customer experience of farming machinery, facilitating customer relations, and allowing for after-sales opportunities, such as the purchase of green hydrogen, additional add-on devices, and services.
